DU Men's Basketball Comes to Santa Clara
Playing in the annual Cable Car Classic at Santa Clara University, the DU Men's Basketball team will be in town for 3 games in November. You can buy game tickets directly from SCU
Day 1 - November 13
Catch the Pioneers in action on the first day of the tournament vs Milwaukee. Tip off is at 4:30pm. We do not have a scheduled event for this game.Day 2 - November 14
Hopefully you all received the email from the University advertising an event on Saturday for the game against Santa Clara. Join DU Basketball Coach Joe Scott and DU Board Chair Doug Scrivner (JD ’77) for a reception prior to the basketball game. Then, help us cheer on our Pioneers as they take on the Santa Clara Broncos. The event starts at 5:30 at Gordon Biersch Restaurant (map). Register here for the pre-game reception for only $5 per person which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer.
Day 3 - November 15
On Sunday, join us for Day 3 as the Pios take on Lipscomb at Noon. We'll be meeting for brunch at 10am at Bill's Cafe on The Alameda (map) before making the short walk to the stadium. Tickets are available directly from SCU starting at only $10! Buying a ticket for Santa Clara vs Wisconsin includes the earlier tip-off for the Denver vs Lipscomb game. Alternatively, feel free to call Jesse at the SCU Athletic Department to reserve your seats - (480) 554-4628. Please RSVP throughEventBrite so we get an idea on how many of you will be joining us.
